We would also like to announce the following promotions Effective Jan 1st 2010:

Lt.Stephen Grossl has been promoted to Captain

Capt. Shawn Whittlesey has been promoted to Asst. Chief

Asst. Chief Wilson Foley has been promoted to Deputy Chief

These promotions come after Deputy Chief Hamilton has moved away from the district to the Alvaton area.  He will continue to be a hugeasset to our department as a firefighter.  We thank him for his service as an officer of the Barren River Fire Department and wish him the best of luck in his new home.
